Why choose an ORS Vacation Rental?
More and more people are choosing to stay in a vacation rental home while traveling. ORS offers the privacy and luxury of a fully furnished home with the service and amenities of a resort.
Do I get to choose the exact home I will be staying in?
No. With ORS Vacation Homes we choose the home for you. The homes you see on the website are a good example of the homes we offer. The homes we represent are newer homes, with the oldest being three years old.
Why am I not allowed to choose the home I am staying in?
ORS Vacation Rentals works with many suppliers and represents over 1200 homes in the area. By allowing ORS to choose your home for you, we can offer substantial discounts over booking an exact home. By allowing ORS to choose your vacation rental we are able to fill in spaces that would otherwise remain empty. The homes we represent are investment properties, and the owners will take discounted rates instead of allowing the home to remain unoccupied. This allows our guests to save between 25% to 75% depending on the season.
How do I check-in to the home?
After booking and final payment is received, ORS will email you driving and check in instructions to the office we assign you. We have multiple check in locations, and we will assign you to the office that manages the home you will be occupying.
What if I booked with a travel agent?
If you booked your vacation rental with a third party supplier, you will be required to call at least 72 hours prior to arrival to receive driving and check in instructions. If you are staying five nights or less you will be required to pay the non-refundable cleaning fee prior to arrival. The cleaning fees range from $85.00 to $175.00 depending on the size of home you reserved. Once the cleaning fee is paid we will email you driving instructions, lock box codes, emergency numbers, and any other pertinent information.
How can I heat the pool?
The pool can be heated for $35.00 plus tax per night. If you decide to have the pool heat turned on, ORS requires you to pay for the number of days on your reservation.
How close are the homes to Walt Disney World and Universal Studios?
All the homes are in resort communities designed for vacation use and are located within 5 to 10 minutes of Disney World and 20 to 25 minutes of Universal Studios.
Are there restaurants and shopping near the homes?
Yes. Grocery stores, drug stores, and restaurants are located close to all the homes.
Do I need to clean the home?
No. You are our guest, and all the homes are professionally cleaned and inspected prior to your arrival. There is a mop, vacuum, broom, washing machine, dryer, dishwasher and dust pan in the home in case of a need to do a quick touch during your stay. If you would like a mid-week clean, or daily maid service please call our office for details and fees.
Do I need to bring towels and linens to the home?
No. We provide you with the linens and towels. Each home has linens for each bed and ample towels. You may wish to bring beach towels if you are taking a day trip to the beach.
Are the homes non-smoking?
Yes, all of our homes are non-smoking. Guests are permitted to smoke on the patio area outside. We will charge a $250.00 deep clean fee if we find that guests were smoking in the rental.
Do you allow pets?
No, pets are not allowed in the vacation rentals. We will charge a $250.00 deep clean fee if we find that pets were allowed in the home.
What do we need to do at check out time?
Please follow the instructions received in your key pack or in the guest book.
If I have a problem with the home what do I do?
We are always here to insure you have a wonderful stay with us. ORS will provide you with emergency numbers to call in the very rare event you need us right away.
